I recently stayed at the Lido Islander Inn And Suites for a weekend getaway. The room may have been small, but the free use of bikes, helmets, locks, and beach chairs added great value. I loved the nice seating area outside, complete with a fridge and microwave for some food prep in the room. The location was perfect, with the beach and shops at St Armands Circle just a short walk away. And of course, enjoying ice cream and watching the sunset made it even better!
Can just recommend this hotel.

Everything was good, we recommend it. Our family had a nice stay for a weekend in January at this cute apartment adjacent to beach, Sarasota and restaurants.

My apartment was cute just next door to shopping center and the beach. Location was incredible - 5 minutes walk from Public beach. And I was located in a quiet residential neighborhood. I liked all the staff, they were attentive and respectful. I had room with a king bed.
The bathroom was a little small, it upset me a little.

The suites at Lido Islander Inn had a cozy seating area with a comfy sofa bed, perfect for lounging and relaxing after a long day of exploring Sarasota. As a karaoke and casino lover, I appreciated having a space to unwind and maybe even sing a few tunes!
Personally, I found the shower/tub combination in the bathroom a bit inconvenient. Others may not mind, but I prefer separate shower and bath options for a more relaxing bathing experience.

I did not like anything
Extreme false advertising. Far from the beach, faar from town, dirty/filthy - not even a paper towel to clean anything. It was gross.

Good location for the beach and quiet.
No staff always on hand since this is a very small guest house without any additional facilites, but owners can be contacted if necessary.

Itawascharming. It is old Florida. It was very clean. Staff was extremely friendly.
I could hear other patrons tv. I did not feel as safe as a regular hotel.
